Innovative Sintered Metals is a very diversified organization serving the commercial construction, pump, automotive, appliance, and lock industries.

 

We established an immediate strategy to carve out niche markets where we would become specialists in a given product line or process. Our largest niche is the production of stainless steel components for automotive, architectural hardware, locks, and pump industries. Stainless production represents more than 40% of the company's sales.

 

Components for the Plastic Mold Industry

Innovative Sintered specializes in products used by plastic molders such as compression limiters, housings, impellor inserts, and bearings all made from stainless or plated iron materials.

Our technical staff has extensive knowledge in the powdered metal industry and continues to improve their skills through industry education programs and internal continuous improvement. Our Beginnings

Innovative Sintered Metals Inc. was founded in 1997 by Mr. Jay Draper, former president of Ridgway Powdered Metals and the former American Powdered Metals, a subsidiary of Alcoa.

We are located in the Allegheny Mountain range of Northwestern Pennsylvania along Route 255, which is a major north/south thoroughfare on the north side of interstate 80.
